Hi, I'm Katleho

Junior Cybersecurity Analyst | CTF Player | Student

About

This website is where I share my cybersecurity knowledge, experiences, and work. You will find writeups of CTF challenges, vulnerability research, technical notes on security topics, and documentation of my learning journey.

I started in cybersecurity through coding in 2022, which led me to solving security puzzles and understanding vulnerabilities. Today, I participate in CTF competitions to improve my skills and stay updated with the latest threats. In 2025, I represented North West University at the SANREN National Cybersecurity Final Challenge, competing among the top 10 teams in the country.

I actively sharpen my skills across multiple platforms, including TryHackMe, Hack The Box, OverTheWire, and PicoCTF. I also participate in international CTF competitions through CTFTime, testing my abilities against teams from around the world. To deepen my understanding, I study books such as "Hacking: The Art of Exploitation" and "Linux for Beginners", and I practice on vulnerable machines like Mr-Robot and others from VulnHub. My deepest interest lies in reverse engineering, binary exploitation, and firmware analysis.
